What ArborMatrix is
ArborMatrix is two connected apps: one that gets homeowners to raise their hand, and one that turns a measured tree into a firm number in their yard. Read this first if you’re new to the platform.
The problem it solves
Section titled “The problem it solves”A homeowner looking at a dead tree or an overgrown hedge usually wants a rough idea of cost before they’ll pick up the phone. Standing in their yard, you want to turn a tape-measure reading into a number you can stand behind. ArborMatrix covers both moments — before the call, and on site.
Your online estimator
Section titled “Your online estimator”Your online estimator is what a homeowner uses on their own phone or computer. They enter their address, tap where their trees are, answer a few quick questions, and get an instant ballpark price range — never a single number, always confirmed on-site. That range is enough to tell them whether it’s worth calling you, and it lands you a lead with their contact details.
The field app
Section titled “The field app”The field app is what you or your crew use standing in the driveway — or what office staff use while screening a call. You measure a tree’s trunk (DBH — diameter at breast height), pick the service and any conditions that apply, and get a firm price plus a band, calculated from your own rates. It also captures photos and GPS for the file.
How they connect
Section titled “How they connect”The link between the two apps runs one way only. A lead that came in through your online estimator can be turned into a starting point for a field app estimate — the customer’s details and rough tree count carry over so you’re not typing them twice. Nothing ever flows back the other way: what you do in the field app never changes a homeowner’s online quote.
What it isn’t
Section titled “What it isn’t”ArborMatrix never tells a homeowner an exact price online. Every number they see on your online estimator is a range, and every range comes with the same message: confirmed on-site. The firm number only ever comes from the field app, in front of the tree.
What to watch out for
Section titled “What to watch out for”Your online estimator and the field app price off two separate setups — one under Pricing, one under Rate Matrix — so changing your removal price in one does not touch the other. If a homeowner’s online range looks out of step with what your crew quotes on site, that’s usually the first place to check.
