Go-live checklist
Work through this list before you put your estimator link in front of a real homeowner — on your website, in an email, or on a truck decal.
The checklist
Section titled “The checklist”- Branding set. Your logo and colors are in place under Settings → Branding, so your online estimator looks like your business, not a generic default.
- Base prices reviewed. Settings → Pricing reflects your own removal and trim prices — not left at the starting defaults every account begins with.
- Service area set, or deliberately left open. Settings → Service Area either has your travel radius configured, or you’ve decided you’re fine quoting anyone, anywhere for now. Either is a real choice — an accidental default isn’t.
- Notification recipients added. Settings → Integrations lists everyone who should hear about a new lead by email or text. An empty list means leads arrive with nobody watching.
- Legal pages filled in. Settings → Legal has your legal business name set, so your auto-generated Privacy Policy, Terms, and Cookie Policy refer to your business, not a placeholder.
- Estimator link tested on a phone. Most homeowners will open your link on their phone, not a desktop — walk through it yourself on one before anyone else does.
- Credits sufficient. Check your balance on Billing so a lead doesn’t arrive the same day you run out.
What to watch out for
Section titled “What to watch out for”If you set a service area, its default behavior is to refuse homeowners outside your radius — no price, no lead captured. That’s the right call for a lot of contractors, but it’s easy to turn on without realizing it’s a hard stop. Settings → Service Area has softer options that still quote (or still capture the lead) for homeowners just outside your line, if a hard refusal isn’t what you want.
