Setting up your account
This walks through creating your account, right up to the moment you have a working estimator link to test. Have a few minutes and the items below handy before you start.
What to have ready
Section titled “What to have ready”- Your company name — the only thing you’re required to enter to get started.
- A logo file, if you have one. You can skip this and add it later.
- A rough sense of your prices for removals and trims. You don’t need exact numbers yet — you can start from ours and adjust — but you’ll want to review them before a real homeowner sees your online estimator.
- How far you’re willing to travel, if you want your online estimator to only quote homeowners within a set distance.
Signing up
Section titled “Signing up”Go to dashboard.onlinequote.ai/signup and create an account with an email and password, or continue with Google. No payment is required to start.
What the setup steps ask
Section titled “What the setup steps ask”After you sign up, a short set of steps gets you to a working estimator:
- Company name — required. This becomes your account name and part of your estimator’s address.
- Branding — optional. Upload a logo and pick your brand colors, or skip and set these later in Settings.
- Service area — optional. If you only want to quote homeowners within a set distance, give a center point and how many miles you travel. Skip this to quote anyone, anywhere, for now.
- You’re live — your estimator address and a QR code are ready immediately, with a link you can copy or embed on your own website.
Anything you skip here can be set later — none of these steps lock you in.
What you get immediately
Section titled “What you get immediately”As soon as you finish signing up, your account is active — there’s no waiting on approval and no card required. You get a working link to your online estimator, a starting balance of credits (check the current balance any time on Billing), and access to the full dashboard: leads, settings, and team.
What to watch out for
Section titled “What to watch out for”The setup steps don’t ask about pricing. Skipping branding or a service area is harmless — your online estimator still works without your logo or colors. But your prices start from generic defaults, and nothing in the setup steps prompts you to change them. If you send a homeowner your link before opening Settings → Pricing, they’re seeing example numbers, not yours.
