Branding your estimator
Settings → Branding is where your online estimator stops looking like a generic tool and starts looking like your business.
What lives here
Section titled “What lives here”- Company name — shown throughout your estimator.
- Logo — upload a PNG, JPEG, or WEBP file. You can skip this and add it later.
- Brand colours — three colours, described below.
- Text colours — separate colours for primary and secondary text.
- Font — pick from a short list, or leave it on the default.
There’s also a set of preset colour palettes you can apply in one click if you’d rather start from a finished combination than pick each colour by hand.
Your three colours
Section titled “Your three colours”- Background — the base colour everything sits on. A dark background reads bold; a light one reads clean.
- Primary — your call-to-action colour, used on buttons. It needs to stand out sharply against your Background.
- Accent — used sparingly, for success and “measured” moments. Works best a few shades apart from Primary.
Contrast warnings
Section titled “Contrast warnings”If your Primary and Background colours are too close to each other, the Branding tab warns you that your buttons may be hard to see. That warning only covers that one pairing — it’s a sanity check, not a full accessibility audit of every colour combination you could set. Beyond that one warning, your online estimator automatically nudges your Primary and Accent colours a little darker or lighter than what you picked, but only when needed to keep text readable against your Background — so what renders live can look very slightly different from the exact swatch you chose, in the cases where your original pick was genuinely hard to read.
Checking your work
Section titled “Checking your work”There’s no separate preview screen — the way to see your branding is to save it and open your own estimator link. Keep that link handy while you’re picking colours so you can check how they actually look before sending it to anyone else.
What to watch out for
Section titled “What to watch out for”Skipping branding doesn’t break anything — your online estimator works fine without a logo or custom colours, with generic ones in their place instead. But nothing forces you to set this before your link goes live, so a homeowner can end up looking at a link that still looks like a demo. It’s on the go-live checklist for that reason.
